Good question! I think it would have to be someone “well-known” enough to be recognized to make the story work. I wonder what else she was considering.

I haven’t read anything else by this author. I enjoy light books for “summer reading”, and this was good.

Very enjoyable for me. Being from Texas, I loved the references to landmarks and locations.

I think it was great he was an actor. This made him a good candidate for a stalker/someone being obsessed with him

I did read where he was initially from another profession. I would be interested to know what that was, but I believe a movie star fits well. Even though we all realize that famous people really are just people too, we typically don’t treat them the same way we would treat anyone else that we just met. Fame gives them the distinction of being different than the rest of us. That was a critical element in this particular story.
