Arthur is reunited with his old friend, only to learn that he is dying. On the other hand, Arthur is surrounded and supported by people who love him unconditionally.

This is a wonderful, heart-warming story. But if the idea is to get a sense of place when reading the books for the challenge, then this one is probably not a great fit.

At one point I went back to the Challenge List because I couldn’t remember where it took place.  However, I enjoyed the book. It was clever the way the characters all came together.

The characters were wonderfully developed.
I loved looking through the eyes of a different narrator in each chapter.

It should stay on the list.
