I have taught The Great Gatsby many times, and I have always found Jay to be a sympathetic character, but that, of course is due to the POV. Beautiful Little Fools made me see a possible different view of Jay. I was afraid that I would not like Beautiful Little Fools because of this, but I liked it a lot! I might like it better than Great Gatsby. I wish I could teach them both!
