I just didn’t feel a connection with either of the main characters. It’s too bad, too, because the theme held a lot of potential, it just didn’t deliver in my opinion.

i grew up there and am familiar with area of the zoo and Delaware Park where most of this was set. I don’t know if I would have enjoyed this book if not for the setting. I’m generally not a fan of romance.
