I haven’t read many books that addressed this topic, usually after separation the couple goes their own ways and move on for better or worse. The possibility that some times a simple boring life is the way to happiness is just a different take. I liked the book, but I agree that it’s not ,y favorite of hers by far.

I usually like Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books, but I just didn’t get this one. It was like a story of my boring life. I am not sure the point.

My 27 year old daughter liked it better then me. She has been married for 4 1/2 years and the only good thing she could say is that Lauren learned she could live without a husband, but was happier with one. — Don’t think I need a book to tell me that.

What was your take away?
