I finished it on Friday and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would as I was reading it… but I’m completely with you on “morning breath.” I get it… they’re living primitively. But I don’t need constant reminders of how they smell. 🙂

Reading it now, and I’ll be back with my thoughts about the twist when I’ve finished it. The shifting points of view don’t bother me yet (I’m a little less than halfway through)… but I feel like I’m missing some perspectives. But perhaps that’s part of the point? We’ll see…

The plot in this book was interesting enough, though slow at times (and I found myself frustrated at the shifting POV and shifting timeframes for those POV – anyone else??), but … honestly, after finishing, more than the plot or the twist, I’m left wondering if any other book in the history of ever mentions morning breath as much as this one did? 👀🥸

What were your thoughts on The Good Girl?
