I agree. Overall I enjoyed the book, I’ve read a few Nora Roberts books so I knew what to expect. I would have liked Ilaya’s thoughts during the extremely brief trial, actually I also would have enjoyed more trial scenes!

We hear from his perspective at different points throughout the book, so I was expecting his perspective at the trial, I was a bit disappointed and it left me with a feeling of unfinished business.
