Great stories full of plot twists. The story was a little slow, but once I hit the second half of the story I couldn't put it down. Liv and Spohie were both brave women making bold choices that everyone around them advised against. "Once it's done it can't be undone" Sophie put her faith in the German Kommandant right up to the gates of the prision camp. In route she had a chance to escape but she didn't. Would you? I don't think I would have been able to attempt making a deal with him?
