review I read this for the challenge and thought it was an emotionally moving story. I can't imagine living in a city dumb and not being able to figure out what making my kid so sick. I thought the ambition of the mother and the connection with her landlord was very moving and brought tears to my eyes as she made strides to learn to read. A very eye opening story that made me thankful for the blessing I have.
