        Was anybody else waiting for Ilaya Volkov’s perspective or voice at the trail? We hear from his perspective at different points throughout the book, so I was expecting his perspective at the trial, I was a bit disappointed and it left me with a feeling of unfinished business.

          1. I agree. Overall I enjoyed the book, I’ve read a few Nora Roberts books so I knew what to expect. I would have liked Ilaya’s thoughts during the extremely brief trial, actually I also would have enjoyed more trial scenes!

              Yes! It wrapped up too quickly. I’m glad I’m not the only one that felt this way.
