        I’m not a contemporary romance reader or a romance reader at all, but I ended up loving this book. For April I wanted to read a book genre that I normally don’t read and wanted to read something that I knew very little about the author. The book made me want to take a survival course to see if I could survive like Helen!

          I read this one last year for the Read around the US challenge and really enjoyed it too. I had previously read Things You Save in a Fire, which is also very good. I have since read a couple other books by her.

              I think, Things You Save in a Fire is my favorite one by this author.

              I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did.  It was fantastic!
