    • Magical I liked this book so much!  It was sad and joyful and magical.  I loved how the setting was written. It felt like another character in the book.

    • Haunting story! I really enjoyed this book - I found the writing fluid and the story kept me engaged. I can’t imagine surviving the rugged and rough life or rural Alaska in the 1920s. I think Faina brought Mabel and Jack new life.
