        I thought the book was good at the beginning and I couldn’t put it down, but towards the end, I didn’t like it as much.

          I felt the same way. It made me think what I would do as a parent. The end just didn’t do it for me. It seemed rushed and some plot holes.

            I also had very mixed emotions about this book.  I kept asking myself if this was my situation what would I do. I cannot believe a mother who loved her son as much as she loved Jacob would do this. Why not report him and get him the help he needs?
