        This was a heart wrenching book, but definitely had some high points thanks to the kindness of some people, especially the Hudsons.  I knew very little about the Spanish flu.  I am not sure I had even heard of it until it was referenced due to the Covid pandemic.   Do you think people’s behavior during the height of the Covid pandemic had similarities to the behavior during the Spanish flu pandemic?
