The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley

At first I was not crazy about the main character.  I ususally like quirky characters, but Flavia was so obsessed with poison etc. it was a little creepy.  Then I started liking her as the book progressed, but I don’t know if I would read more in the series.  There were a lot of references to British  culture that I did not understand.
