Hard to choose. Each of the lead characters was strong and unique – loved them all. I also loved the inclusion of the secondary, real-life characters, who brought the Bloomsbury girls a vision of what could be. Daphne duMaurier, Ellen Doubleday, Peggy Guggenheim and Sonia Brownell-Orwell were leading the way into a new era.
I enjoyed the story and combined strength of the characters. I liked Gracie’s courage and Vivian’s vision and spirit. I thought Evies character was a bit awkward and would have liked a bit more confidence from her. I was happy for the success of their teamwork and would like to apply for a job at their store.
