    • Have you read other Katherine Center books? Katherine Center said that she wrote The Bodyguard as her own fun escape during Covid, so she made it intentionally lighter than her other books. How did it compare for you?

    • What if Jack hadn’t been written as a movie star? In the author's notes at the end of the book, Katherine Center mentioned that she initially wrote Jack's character in another career besides a movie star.  She changed his career to a movie star because it seemed to work better for the storyline.  What do you think? Is there another career that would have worked for Jack? Or did the story work best with him as a movie star?
