    • How did you rate this book? Have you finished How the Penguins Saved Veronica? I gave it 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 on Goodreads. I thought this was a sweet book, but I wanted more character development and background on each person. It also required a stretch of imagination to think that an elderly woman would really be allowed to go the the Antarctic station. But, I loved reading about the work with the penguins, the relationship with her grandson, and had some laugh-out-loud moments and shed some tears. All good things when reading a story.
