How much did you enjoy having an anthropomorphized creature as a main character?

I never thought I would, but it was pretty cool in this book!

I loved it too. The author did a really great job with this.  And I loved his relationship with Tova.

Anthropomorphized? In my mind he was human! Better than human. I loved him!

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but found that I enjoyed his character.  I listened to the audio version and the actor has a great voice.  I loved the way he brought everyone together.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I liked it.  It was a great way for the author to let us know about all the character connections.  He was also the character that was literally trapped while the other main characters simply felt stuck in their circumstances.</p>

He was the best part of the book for sure.

I was not drawn to the title or the idea of a story about an octopus. So much for judging a book by its cover…I loved it! A very clever idea as a way to present our human faults.
