<p style=”text-align: left;”>I really liked how Eula baked and taught Starla to bake as a way of working through her feelings. Especially since then she sold or shared the goods, instead of overindulging as she had a lot of thinking to do!

Does anyone have other productive “thinking “ activities?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I loved this book for so many reasons, including the love of baking. I bake for fun, for cookies and my infamous cheesecakes. I can’t go to a pot luck without being asked to bring a cheesecake. Which is fine because they aren’t something I make for myself.

For “a thinking activity” I enjoy making cards with rubber stamps and die cuts. If I’m not doing it with friends it’s a good time to be thinking about whatever is on my mind.

I also enjoy doing Diamond Paintings. I find it very relaxing. Sometimes I do it quietly while thinking things over. I also find this a great time to listen to books on audible.

I love that you have several go to options! Driving was my activity, but now I work from home and haven’t really found a replacement. I don’t mind cooking/baking but the clean-up. 🙁
