I found the main character so unlikable.

I had a feeling as I was reading this book that I was supposed to be rooting for the main character.  However, I found him unlikable from the early chapters.  He was a misogynistic.  The way he spoke about women especially those in power was degrading.  Also, the way he talked about young teen girls bodies was off putting.  I realize unlikable characters are normal and even make books more riveting at times.  However, this felt different.  It’s definitely my opinion of the book.
