        Did anyone else read both The Lincoln Highway and West with Giraffes? I enjoyed reading both accounts of traveling east-west before the interstates. Anyone have favorite parts of those journeys?

          I read both. Also This Tender  Land-  another similar book. In Giraffes- I loved the scenes with the giraffes!

          All of the books were coming of age books.  Lincoln Highway definitely hit me the hardest.  I was sooo upset when Woolly died.  People with handicaps are so discriminated against.
