Participant@ldibaccoI chose this book because I thought it would be funny. However, when I started listening on audio I couldn’t get into it (second time this month). I decided to go with an old favorite, the latest in the Stephanie Plum series, Going Rogue. I’ll follow this forum to see what others like about it.

Participant@moiratollI enjoyed the Italian words/phrases at the beginning of every chapter and the info provided. I grew up in NY and could relate to much of the culture of the family structure. Each generation caught my attention, the mother the most somehow. Even though it seems silly and a rom/com at times, I also felt it touched on generational differences and some important issues. So, yes I’d say keep it on the list.

Participant@joyhreadsYes. I don’t know much about New Jersey (have relatives in NYC), but I enjoyed it and have already recommended it to someone I know who grew up in New Jersey, and she LOVED it! 😀
