        Someone in the group suggested the movie to me and I’m so glad she did. I really enjoyed the book, but the movie really gave me a visual of the town. I also watched a short interview with the director, who also played William’s father in the film. He purposely filmed the movie in Malawi so it would be as accurate as possible.

        I loved seeing how William’s home looked, and the school.
