I knew Lindbergh’s name but I definitely didn’t know anything about his wife and overall not much about his life in general. It took me awhile to get through “The Aviator’s Wife” but I really enjoyed it.  Anne is a hero and amazing person with a fascinating story. I also liked the authors note at the end talking about writing historical fiction and hoping the reader then goes on to learn a little more about the history. I’ve read plenty of WWII historical fiction and I generally don’t feel inspired to research more but this book definitely makes me want to learn more about the Lindberghs. Any other historical fiction books you’ve read that lead you to research and learn more about the history?
