          Definitely! It’s a classic example of the 1960’s raw and young voice.

              I agree completely. Such a popular author and for so many reasons, but the Outsiders is definitely her best. Such raw voices on both sides of society and a reminder that all are not bad from either side. There is a place to meet in the middle. There isn’t a character in this book that wasn’t believable.
