          Definitely keep it on!  Although this book covers some very difficult topics, it is told with a lot of heart. It’s obvious Barbara Kingsolver loves this region and cares deeply about the people and the problems they face, some universal and some quite specific to the region’s generational economic situation.

              While I dont think the topics in this book are specific to this region, I do think it is a book worth reading to understand the deep , complex issues with depression, drug use and economic hardship.
