        Do you think Civil got too involved in the lives of the Williams? There was an undertone that suggested this in the way her father and Mrs Williams kept telling her to live her own life and think about herself.

          Yes, I think the concept of “savior” was an undertone. Especially when she found them a place to live. I appreciated the fact that in this case it wasn’t a white savior which is stereotypical , yet addressed the concept.
