        The tale of two immigrant women making their way in America while hiding their past was a great read. Both had a side of hypocrisy but were very strong and ambitious to move beyond their stations in life. It was another very well researched book by Marie Benedict.

          I like this author & her take on historical fiction. Enjoyed it!
