    • Adele Was I the only one who was really frustrated and disgusted with Adele’s behavior? Even before Eddie joined the service (as did most men during WWII), I didn’t ever feel like she was very motherly. Then, to just walk away from her kids? I would have been really resistant to letting her back into my life (or my kids’ lives) when she had a change of heart.

    • A bit too much I really liked this book, but did anyone else feel that it was a bit too long? (Don't get me wrong:I have read a lot of lengthy books.) I felt that the author could have trimmed down a bit, such as a few things when Toni was touring or parts about their childhood.

    • Fiction or Non-Fiction? The book definitely fit the the challenge.  It was interesting, but I felt  the style was more like non-fiction which is not my favorite.
