        The book definitely fit the the challenge.  It was interesting, but I felt  the style was more like non-fiction which is not my favorite.

          I felt like it was a mix of both with WWII and Vietnam historical events in it.

            This is, in my opinion, a book that would be considered historical fiction. Not a real family but set in a time span in history. Lots of factual information included, making the story an interesting one.
